Our farm

Mountain View Christmas Tree Farm is a small Christmas tree farm on Rushing Springs Rd in Rickman, Tennessee, with cypress you choose and cut and pre-cut Fraser firs.

The Mountain View Christmas Tree Farm logo burned into a pine board: mountains, two fir trees and an old pickup hauling a tree.

Started in 2022

Growing trees since then

Mountain View is family owned and operated. We started the farm in 2022, and Wayne Allen is the owner.

The cypress grows in our rows, and families choose and cut their own. We also have pre-cut Fraser firs, roughly 6 to 9 feet, for anyone who would rather take home a tree that is already cut.

In October we posted that the trees need some trimming up. Christmas tree growers trim each tree by hand during the growing years, which is called shearing. Cutting back the new growth makes a tree fill in thicker and keeps its cone shape even.

In 2026 the farm is open on nine days, starting with the Black Friday weekend sale on Friday, November 27. See the open days

From the field

We post photos of the rows on the farm's Facebook page as the trees grow. These are from this fall.
