What to bring

  • Boots

The rows are grass, and they can be wet or muddy.

  • Work gloves

Gloves help when you carry the tree and pull the straps tight.

  • Straps or rope, and an old blanket

Use the straps to tie the tree down and the blanket to protect the roof or the truck bed.

  • A tape measure and your ceiling height

Measure the room where the tree will stand before you leave home, then check Will it fit? on the trees page.

  • Ask about a saw

If you plan to cut your own, call ahead to ask whether to bring a saw.
